Free knitting pattern: Christmas Ball – “Star of Bethlehem”

Dale of Norway Heilo or Falk plus Gullfasan were used to knit this Christmas Ball, the Star of Bethlehem, by Mary Ann Stephens

Star of Bethlehem

I love knitting Christmas things during heatwaves – at least my thoughts are cool!  Last year’s heatwave inspired three Nordic Christmas balls.  This year, most of my heatwave knitting time was spent on some gloves I’ll be showing you shortly.  But, I did get my new “Star of Bethlehem” Christmas ball done, too, and as with last year’s Christmas Balls, this one is a special, FREE, early Christmas present for YOU!

I made this one with Dale of Norway Heilo (or you could use Falk) and Gullfasan (or you could use either Heilo or Falk instead of the metallic Gullfasan), all of which I sell in happy abundance through my on-line store,  You’ll find all the details on the pattern PDF, below.  Have fun!

P.S.  If you’re wondering why there are empty spaces in some of the chart rows, this blog post of mine will help to clear that up for you:
